The semester is underway so I can get back to the blog. First up--Beehive, the 60s Musical--another great production from the San Pedro Playhouse. There must be at least 50 songs from the 1960s in this show! What great music! Could there ever be a musical from more recent decades? Not with music of this caliber. As usual, the production was superb, but I have to give a special tip of the hat to the lighting designer. Well done--kudos all around. And for anyone in the vicinity of San Antonio, do yourselves a favor and see it!

Sounds terrific, I'd be rockin' if I lived there. We just worked the Shirelles' performance at our playhouse over the weekend.
